Das Stadthaus besetzt den Bauplatz in selbstbewusster Weise. Während sich die unteren beiden Geschosse als Sockel in umliegende Baukanten einfügen, zeugt der darüberliegende quadratische Baukörper von Eigenständigkeit. Zum Sternenplatz hin verschmelzen beide Körper und formulieren eine charakterstarke, städtische Hauptfassade, die mit ruhiger und klarer Struktur den gesamten Platz zentriert.
Entlang der Allee- und Sternenstrasse erlaubt der zunehmend gestaffelte Baukörper eine ausgeprägte Besonnung der Strassenräume. Auch nach Norden setzen sich die gestaffelten Obergeschosse wohltuend von der umgebenden Bebauung ab. Hier sind auch die beiden unteren Geschosse von der Baugrenze abgerückt, wodurch das Stadthaus als Solitair steht. Die entstehende Durchwegung ist an die Passerelle zur seeseitigen Gassa angebunden und verwebt den Solitair fest im Quartiersgefüge.
Das Innere des Stadthauses spiegelt das kooperative Zielbild wieder. Es besticht durch zwei ausgeprägte Gemeinschaftsräume mit ganz eigenen Charakteren. Da ist zum Einen das lebendige, öffentliche Wohnzimmer, zum Anderen das konzentrierte, professionelle Atrium.
Das zu ebener Erde liegende Wohnzimmer öffnet sich über die gesamte Hausbreite mit einladender Glasfassade zum Sternenplatz. Foyer, Café und Flexbereich gehen darin fliessend ineinander über. Sie funktionieren gleichzeitig als Vorzone für Stadtforum und Bibliothek. Das öffentlichen Wohnzimmer ist bewusst einsehbar gestaltet und erlaubt seinerseits Blickbeziehungen vom Inneren hinaus zum Sternenplatz.
Das Atrium ist höher gelegen und von gemeinschaftlicher Arbeit und professionellem Austausch geprägt. Es wird vom öffentlichen Wohnzimmer aus durch eine breite Treppe und den Hauptlift erschlossen. Im 2. Obergeschoss, öffnet sich das Atrium zunächst mit einer vielfach nutzbaren Gemeinschaftsfläche. Besprechungsräume des Multispace schliessen direkt an, wodurch das gesamte Atrium zur Vorzone wird und den hausinternen Austausch aller Parteien befördert. In den Geschossen darüber sind Büroflächen in ringförmiger und flexibel unterteilbarer Weise um das Atrium herum angelegt.

The townhouse occupies the building site in a self-confident manner. While the lower two storeys blend into the surrounding building edges as a plinth, the square structure above is a testament to its independence. Towards Sternenplatz, the two volumes merge and form a strong, urban main façade that centers the entire square with a calm and clear structure.
Along Alleestrasse and Sternenstrasse, the increasingly staggered building structure allows the street spaces to be exposed to sunlight. To the north, too, the staggered upper storeys contrast pleasantly with the surrounding buildings. Here, the two lower storeys are also set back from the building boundary, allowing the townhouse to stand alone. The resulting passageway is connected to the passerelle to the lakeside Gassa and weaves the solitaire firmly into the fabric of the quarter.
The interior of the townhouse reflects the cooperative target image. It impresses with two distinct communal spaces with very individual characters. On the one hand there is the lively, public living room, and on the other the concentrated, professional atrium.
The living room at ground level opens up across the entire width of the building with an inviting glass façade facing Sternenplatz. The foyer, café and flex area merge seamlessly into one another. They also function as an entrance zone for the city forum and library. The public living room is deliberately designed to be visible and in turn allows views from the interior out to Sternenplatz.
The atrium is located higher up and is characterized by collaborative work and professional exchange. It is accessed from the public living room via a wide staircase and the main elevator. On the 2nd floor, the atrium initially opens up with a multi-purpose communal area. Meeting rooms of the Multispace are directly adjacent, turning the entire atrium into a front zone and promoting internal exchange between all parties. On the floors above, office spaces are arranged around the atrium in a ring shape that can be flexibly subdivided.
