North of Berlin a small cottage acts as hide-away for an urban family of four. The site is slightly elevated, yet in the vicinity of a lake. A large living- and dining room complete with fireplace represents the heart of the building. Towards the North, its expansive views are framed by existing pine trees, to the South the sun peeks into the kitchen and the dining area. Two bedrooms and a joint bathroom complete the floorplan.
