Der neue Hochpunkt des Quartiers versteht sich als vertikale Fortführung des Bahnhofvolumens und als Zielpunkt der Immermannstraße. Der Turm steht also nicht als Solitär am Platz, sondern bildet mit dem Bahnhof ein Gesamtgefüge. Dazu gehört auch, dass unter dem Vorbau des Turmes, mit dem er an den Bestand anschließt, eine gemeinsame Erschließung liegt. Kreuzförmig gruppieren sich hier die Zugänge zur nördlichen Seitenhalle des Bahnhofs, zu den Büroflächen und den öffentlichen Aussichtsterrassen des Turmes, als auch zum Konrad Adenauer Platz.

This new tower does not stand alone. As the new high point of the district it can be seen as a vertical continuation of the train station, and the destination at the end of the Immermannstrasse. A common entrance links the tower to the existing structures. The entrances to the northern hall of the train station, to the office spaces and the public viewing terrace of the tower, as well as to Konrad Adenauer Platz, are grouped here in a cross shape.
